What we cover: Is your dog painfully shy around strangers, new places or new things? From mild avoidance of everyday encounters to submissive urination and terror, life can be hard for a shy or anxious dog. We can help by providing you with a safe environment to practice skills that will empower your dog and create a better quality of life.
In this 4-week class, dogs will work at their own pace whether that be navigating new obstacles, interacting with a friendly stranger or building enough confidence to simply walk through the door. This is a great opportunity for dogs who are not quite ready for the structure and demands of a typical class format.
Note: This class is not appropriate for dogs who growl, bark and lunge at other dogs/people. If you have a dog who displays this behavior, consider our Beast on a Leash Class or our in-home private training services.

The class is also designed to help dogs who display reactive behavior off leash, in the home, etc. The class is limited to 4 dogs so each team gets dedicated instructor support.

What we cover: We often prioritize training when our dogs are young but what about when they reach their golden years? When done correctly, not only can training and enrichment help slow cognitive decline but the right type of movement can keep your dog feeling like his younger self!
In this class we will focus on four areas, all geared towards older canines; training, enrichment, movement and strategies for coping with age related behavioral changes. Join us and teach your old dog some new tricks!
Note: If you have a dog who would not enjoy a group class (i.e. trouble getting in and out of the car, reactive to other dogs or people, uncomfortable in new places) we do have auditing spots available. As an auditor, you will leave your pup at home but attend the class to observe and learn. You can then bring your new skills back and share them with your senior.
