Danielle Basciano – CDBC, ACCBC, CSAT, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA
Danielle has been training dogs and solving behavior problems for pet owners for over 25 years. An active volunteer in her community, she consults regularly with local shelters, animal rescues and animal welfare agencies. She is passionate about humane training methods grounded in behavioral science and about a hands-on, supportive approach to training and behavior modification programs. With Danielle, you know she’s with you every step of the way.
She stays current on the latest training and behavior modification techniques by regularly attending conferences seminars and workshops given by the leaders in the field. In addition to running her business, CNY Pet Training & Behavior, Danielle volunteers her time and expertise with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, where she served on the board for 8 years and is now a member of the Application Review Committee. She currently serves on the CNY Animal Cruelty Task Force, the board of directors for HumaneCNY and has previously worked on a variety of committees and non-profit boards such as the CNY SPCA, Spay and Neuter Syracuse and PAWS of CNY, a local therapy dog organization where she held the position of president and lead evaluator for 12 years.
Danielle lives in Baldwinsville, NY, and along with the humans in her life, shares her home with her German Shepherds London and Castiel, and her rescue cats, Arya, Evie, Kaley, Moxie, Gracie and Ember.
Kristin Russell-Miller – CPDT-KA
Kristin, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, has been training dogs for over 10 years. She is an Elite Fear Free Certified Professional Trainer and enjoys training dogs and their owners on cooperative care skills. She is also a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), an approved American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen Evaluator as well as a certified Drink With Your Dog ™ Instructor.
Kristin shares the company’s passion for humane, supportive, science-based training methods and regularly attends seminars, workshops and conferences to further her knowledge in the field. Among other programs she has completed the intensive IAABC Animal Behavior Consulting Principles & Practice Course.
Kristin volunteers her time with B&R Bunkhouse. When Kristin isn’t working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Emma, her partner Ray, her two rescue cats Tommy and Lucy along with rescue dog R2-D2 “Artie”.
